Greetings everyone. The nomination window has closed and the campaign to become the next TBU President for OSSTF d14 has begun. The vote will take place after the TBU AGM, starting the evening of May 28th and ending on May 30th at 330pm.

I am so thrilled for this opportunity to earn your trust to take over the Presidency of the TBU. Our union has been in good hands these past few years and I’ve been lucky enough to sit under the learning tree daily as your Vice-President. The work ahead is exciting and I’m ready to take on the challenges of leading into a bargaining round in 2026.

Most of the communication about this election will come to your personal email via Dave Warda, including how to vote. But my website and social media will outline how I have a vision that is not only based around d14 union-level priorities, but also includes greater collaboration with surrounding districts Provincially, and has specific goals down to the worksite and program level.

I have content ready to go for every workday of the campaign – I hope you will stay tuned and share amongst the membership. I want to talk to as many of you as possible over the next three weeks. I will not be campaigning during my work day, so please understand if my responses are a bit delayed (as we’re having to take your issues to the board a lot these days!)

I am ready for the work to come. I have the experience needed. I have a history of winning results. I’m ready. I am asking for your vote come the AGM.
