My background includes successfully managing grievances, representing members, and navigating challenging conversations with senior administration, trustees and principals.

My approach to leadership is built on three core principles: empathy for our members’ concerns, strategic problem-solving, and decisive action plans. I’ve invested in my professional development through numerous courses in labor law to ensure I can effectively advocate for your rights.

My proactive leadership style has allowed me to anticipate and address issues before they escalate. I’ve established multiple collaborative platforms with KPR that have successfully integrated union voices into board processes where they were previously absent.
BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS
I understand that maintaining good relationships with local administrators, while important, doesn’t guarantee your concerns reach decision-makers. As your President, I commit to ensuring the board recognizes when their strategic goals fail to align with your frontline experiences. I will never assume all will be fine.
